Karen Sokoll


Karen Sokoll, LL.M. is an associate in the Media, Communications and Technology Group of our German office

Karen advises clients in the media, e-commerce and telecommunications sector, particularly on regulatory issues. Her work includes administrative procedures and litigation as well as compliance advice on broadcasting law, data protection, advertising regulation, youth protection, telecoms regulation and media litigation.

Previously, Karen worked as a General Counsel with the German Commission on Concentration in the Media (KEK) for almost 8 years where she dealt with all recent takeovers related to nationwide TV broadcasters and their parent companies.

Prior to joining Olswang, Karen worked for more than a year in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group of Linklaters.
