Robert is Head of Olswang's Patent Prosecution Team

Robert is a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney. He has experience in drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications, opposition and appeal work before the European Patent Office, patent licensing, global patent strategy, patent term extensions and portfolio management. He lectures to trainee patent agents and patent administrators on various aspects of patent law.

Robert has a particular interest and expertise in inventions made in the fields of pharmaceuticals, biochemistry, biotechnology, cell biology, genetics and immunology, including protein and peptide based medicines, vaccines, antibodies, nucleic acid based medicines, diagnostic methods and diagnostic apparatus.
