Victoria joined the firm as a trainee and was made a partner in 2011. Working in Olswang's media team for over a decade, Victoria has acted for clients across the whole sector and spent time on secondment, including with ITV Network's programme commissioning team. Victoria's practice now centres on the television and wider content industries and her clients include producers, channels, platforms and distributors. Victoria also acts for talent on exclusive broadcast deals, brand exploitation, joint ventures and publishing deals.
Victoria regularly works alongside Olswang's corporate teams on transactions in the media sector including M&A and joint ventures and has significant experience advising the independent television production sector in the UK.
As well as transactional work, Victoria also advises on broadcast and media regulation.

Acting for Viacom International Media Networks on its channel carriage negotiations for the MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central channels on Sky’s satellite and broadband platforms as well as on Virgin. Victoria also advised on the licensing of VOD rights for Anytime+ and the re-shuffling of the channels in the Sky EPG.

Acting for BBCW Worldwide on the sale of its magazines division to Exponent Private Equity. Victoria also acted for BBC Worldwide on its joint venture with Thought Equity for an online clip sales portal.

Advising Shine on the commercial aspects of its sale to News Corp.

Advising Microsoft on its deal with Sky to carry the SkyPlayer service on Xbox 360 and Windows Media Center as well as on major content acquisition deals with Hollywood studios for the Xbox video marketplace.

Acting for Arts Alliance Media on its EU wide roll out of digital cinema projection systems including negotiating its virtual print fee deals with Hollywood studios (the first of their kind) and on its arrangements with exhibitors and manufacturers.

Acting for ITV on its deal with Fremantle Media/Talkback Thames and Syco to secure the production and broadcast of The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent for a further three years after 2010. Victoria previously advised ITV on the renegotiation of its terms of trade with PACT.

Advising the chairmen of Working Title Films, on their television joint venture with NBC Universal, WTTV.

Advising Universal Music on a whole host of television production and distribution arrangements in relation to Universal signed recording artists as well as their record label joint venture with Take That songwriter Gary Barlow.
