Selina has been a partner at Olswang since 1995 and a lawyer in the UK media sector for over 20 years. She provides commercial advice to broadcasters and other audio-visual distributors on all aspects of their business. This includes advising on the acquisition and distribution of content and on all relevant technical contracts for linear and on demand platforms. She also advises book and magazine publishers on all commercial elements of their business.
Selina often helps to structure the media aspects of joint ventures, working within a multi-disciplinary team including corporate, tax and regulatory lawyers.
Her clients include broadcasters, pay television platforms, video on demand services, content owners, satellite operators and publishers.
Selina is recognised by both the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners Guide to the Legal Profession as a leader in her field.

Advising BBC Worldwide for over 15 years on the media and commercial aspects of most of their key joint ventures and strategic partnerships, including their JV to set up UKTV, with Discovery Communications for the Animal Planet channel worldwide, with Woolworths to form the DVD business 2entertain, with Random House for book publishing, Penguin for children's books and Pearson for learning products. She also acted for BBC Worldwide on the ill-fated VOD venture "Project Kangaroo" with ITV and Channel 4 and most recently on the sale of BBC Magazines to Exponent Private Equity.
