Olswang advises Creston plc on the sale of its advertising business, DLKW Group, to Lowe and Partners

Olswang has acted for listed client Creston plc in relation to the Class 1 sale of its advertising business, DLKW Group, to Lowe and Partners in a deal worth £28m.
The DLKW Group was acquired by Creston in 2005 and represents the company's advertising agency. The group is comprised of three trading brands: advertising agency, DLKW; promotional agency, Dialogue DLKW and pre-press production company, The Composing Room. These companies provide advertising, in-store marketing and design and promotional marketing services to clients in a variety of industries ranging from financial services to retail.
The deal leads to the formation of a new agency which will be called DLKW Lowe.
The Olswang team was led by Stephen Hermer and Kate Entwistle, with assistance from Ben Jones and Jacob Gilkes in tax, Colin Brett in Real Estate and Nirupa Manoharan in Finance.
Lewis Silkin acted for Lowe and Partners Limited in relation to real estate and Hogan Lovells acted in relation to tax.
