Olswang strengthens its pan-European Restructuring and Insolvency practice

Olswang has appointed Cristina Jiménez Savurido as Head of the Restructuring and Insolvency practice in Spain. This new appointment reinforces Olswang's strategic expansion making it a leading R&I real estate team in Europe.

Cristina is one of the top Spanish independent lawyers specialising in insolvency appointments, making her one of the most sought after and influential R&I practitioners in the country. Cristina's been involved in some of Spain's most significant restructurings and insolvency real estate deals such as Cosmani, Cabagua, Nozar, Estudio 5 and Fernando Martín. Cristina's experience and inherent knowledge of the sector has allowed her to become a trusted advisor and business partner for the companies she's worked with. As the new Head of Olswang's Spanish R&I team, Cristina will devote her unique business-minded approach to the practice offering a distinctly different take to R&I law for our Spanish and international client base.

Cristina Jiménez has been the President of the Foundation for the Investigation of Law and Business (FIDE) since 2007 and will continue her role while at Olswang. She has played a very active role leading FIDE and has promoted various initiatives about the professional study of business law and the development of relationships between the legal profession and the industry.
