International law firm Olswang has advised modern European restaurant group Foxlow Restaurants Limited on its acquisition of Dinish Restaurants Limited, operator of Sam Harrison’s two restaurants: Chiswick’s Sam’s Brasserie and Harrison’s in Balham. Foxlow is a subsidiary of Underdog Restaurants Limited, which also owns high-end steak franchise Hawksmoor.

Olswang has advised Curzon Capital Partners IV (CCP IV), a vintage core plus style fund advised by Tristan Capital Partners, on the acquisition of the “Cordeliers” shopping centre in the heart of Poitiers, from a vehicle of Munich-based GLL Real Estate Partners. The 9,000 sq. m. shopping centre has national and international brands such as Zara, Mango, Fnac, Décimas and Nature & Découvertes as its anchor tenants.

In July 2015, German Parliament adopted a new Act on Electronic Devices which will enter into force in the course of July 2015. It will then replace the existing Act on Electronic Devices and introduce new obligations for manufacturers and distributors of electronic goods, including foreign (i.e. non-German) online merchants that are selling electronic goods to customers in Germany via the Internet.
