Olswang has advised Internet of Things (IoT) provider Telit Communications on securing a new committed credit arrangement for US$75m in partnership with HSBC plc. The arrangement with HSBC plc comprises a five-year-term facility for US$40m and a committed three year term revolving credit facility for US$35m.

Olswang has advised German media group Burda on its acquisition of a significant minority stake in Notonthehighstreet.com, one of the UK’s fastest-growing online retailers. The Series E funding round, raising £21 million, was led by Burda, with support from Notonthehighstreet.com's existing investors, including Industry Ventures, Eight Roads and Index Ventures.

Olswang has advised DRIVETRIBE, thedigital media platform and online community for motoring enthusiasts, on its Series A funding round. Led by Breyer Capital with additional participation by Atomico and other individual investors, the round raised $5.5 million. DRIVETRIBE is the creation of former Top Gear trio, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, and also former Top Gear Executive Producer Andy Wilman and serial entrepreneur Ernesto Schmitt.

BBC Worldwide will acquire a minority equity stake and the global distribution rights to all content developed by 72 Films.
