We are at the forefront of developments in media finance, supporting banks in their specialist finance offering to media companies and delivering media sector expertise and industry understanding.
In the last three years, our Special Situations Groups for media, real estate and leisure and retail have been actively supporting the key restructuring and business support teams in UK and major European banks.
Our film finance capability encompasses the financing, production and distribution of films and television programmes with particular experience in film financing in connection with the structuring of productions with any combination of government subsidies, tax-based finance, distribution pre-sales and debt finance.
We have strong links with the non-bank lending community. Institutions such as the lending arms of private equity houses, insurance and life assurance companies, specialist loan sales funds, have continued to play an important role in providing debt at a time when some of the more traditional players have had to reduce or curtail their lending activities.
