Members of Olsang, the Olswang choir, have competed in the UK Office Choir of the Year competition at Christie's in London.
The team, whose members include a combination of Partners, Legal PA's, Associates and members of the Business Development team, performed four classic songs including Adiemus and Ombra Mai.
Competing against fifteen other teams from a diverse spectrum of sectors, the judges praised the Olsang team for their "zest for singing" which helped take them to the semi-finals. Only six of the fifteen teams have passed to the semis, and only four of these will continue on to compete in the final competition to win the Office Choir of the Year title.
Olsang has been running for three years performing at firm, industry and charity events. "This is the first time we've performed at the Office Choir of the Year competition," said Eleni Skordaki Olswang Finance Partner. "We're very excited and proud to have made it this far and look forward to the semi-finals on 1 March."
*Olsang have now made it through to the finals of the UK Office Choir of the Year Competition, where they will introduce a new piece to their repertoire (and draw on the skills of an accompanying string quartet).
